Description
Cobra Sport performance exhausts enhance the sound, looks and quality of your vehicle giving you the ultimate driving experience. Our sports exhausts range is fully guaranteed to give you assurance of our quality.
These Fiesta performance exhausts are made in 2.5″/63.5mm pipework and fit from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these parts replace the centre and rear sections.
The resonated exhaust option includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust however, is also available as a non-resonated version which is a louder option, as it excludes the centre silencer and therefore, has a sportier exhaust note.
All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.
Note – This exhaust only fits the Zetec S / ST-Line rear valance, see fitted image.
Zetec Exhaust is also available.
Some fitted images may show resonated version. Your vehicle may require the Fiesta Zetec S rear valance. This is available from your local Ford dealer (part number 1833264).
Press Release
Fords exciting little Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost is a real punchy little number that is just crying out for an exhaust upgrade to add to all the fun. The team at Cobra Sport were able to work their usual magic and create a stainless steel exhaust worthy of the car’s sporty reputation. The results are pretty amazing, if we do say so ourselves! But don’t just take our word for it, get involved and buy one and let us know what you think!
As we realise everyone is individual in their tastes for sound, we have created the exhaust system to come from the Catalytic Converter backwards in both a resonated and non-resonated version. This allows those in need of some extra drama to opt for the non-resonated system and those seeking a more subtle enhancement to go with the resonated option. With the OE system, on tick over, coming in at 62dB, the resonated option at 68dB and the non-resonated version at 73.5dB, both variations will add a more noticeable soundtrack. Cabin volume is kept in check with both systems with the resonated exhaust being the quieter of the two recording a maximum level of 78.7dB when under full load. The resonated section works to eliminate cabin drone averaging just 73dB when at cruising at motorway speeds. For those looking for a more dynamic sound track, the non-resonated configuration increases outdoor sound levels to 95dB on the static 4,000rpm test compared to 86.5dB for the resonated exhaust system and recorded an interior cabin volume of 82.8dB under full acceleration.
As always Cobra Sport haven’t left the visual appeal of the system go unnoticed, adding a smart twin 3″ (76.2mm) tailpipe staggered and shaped to follow the clean lines of the Fiesta’s rear valance, which really enhances the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal.
The usual Cobra Sport refinements come as standard, CNC mandrel bent tubing and precision TIG welding on all joints, with the entire system being hand finished, using grade 304 stainless steel throughout.
